The Excellence in Leadership Award recognizes the outstanding achievement and dedication of one exemplary 红杏直播appprincipal with a $10,000 award. The Rubenstein Awards for Highly Effective Leadership recognize the success of five 红杏直播appschool leaders with a $5,000 award.
Award winners were nominated by 红杏直播appeducators, students, parents, and community members, and then selected by a 红杏直播appcentral office panel. The awards are funded through the generosity of David Rubenstein, co-founder and managing director of the Carlyle Group and chairman of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
The Excellence in Leadership and Rubenstein Award for Highly Effective Leadership winners are recognized at the annual Standing Ovation for DC 红杏直播app Schools, hosted by DC 红杏直播app Education Fund and held at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.
